Working Process Description:
The vacuum chamber helium leak detection system has two vacuum chambers, and the two vacuum chambers are linked together. The operator places the part in the vacuum chamber and connects it with a quick connector, then simultaneously presses the close chamber buttons located on the vacuum chamber, the chamber door automatically closes and the inspection cycle begins. There are grating protectors on both sides of the vacuum box door. When closing the box door, make sure that there are no objects that interfere with the movement of the box door in the closing area.
As soon as one of the chamber doors is closed, the detection cycle for that chamber begins. At this point the operator can move to another chamber for operation.
Test Method:
1.Large leak detection: After the vacuum chamber door is closed, the system successively performs rough and fine pumping of the vacuum chamber until the vacuum degree in the chamber reaches the set leak detection pressure. When the vacuum chamber is evacuated, the system fills the test piece in the chamber with high-pressure gas of 3.5MPa (downward adjustable), and then maintains the pressure, waiting for the pressure sensor of the system to confirm whether there is a large leak. If there is a big leak in the test piece, the system will discharge the high-pressure gas in the test piece, close the suction valve of the vacuum chamber at the same time, and terminate the leak detection procedure. And after filling the vacuum chamber into the atmosphere, the operator presses the confirmation button, the door of the vacuum chamber will automatically open, taking the test piece out, marking and placing it into the to-be-treated area. If the system does not find a large leakage of the test piece, it will automatically carry out the next leak detection procedure.
2.Vacuum the test piece: If no large leakage of the test piece is found, the system will release the high-pressure gas in the test piece and vacuumize the inside of the test piece. When the vacuum degree in the test piece reaches the set pressure value, wait for the evacuation process of the vacuum chamber to complete.
3.Vacuum helium detection: When the evacuation of the vacuum chamber reaches the set leak detection pressure, and at the same time the evacuation of the test piece in the chamber has been completed, the system detects the helium signal in the detection box and suppresses this signal to zero. Then fill the test piece with 4.0Mpa (downward adjustable) helium gas. When the helium gas pressure in the test piece reaches the set value, the leak detector will detect the leakage of the test piece.
If the leak detector finds a helium signal that exceeds the set value, it means that there is a small leak in the test piece in the chamber and the system will issue a leak alarm. The operator presses the confirmation button, and the vacuum chamber will automatically be opened after being filled with the atmosphere. After the operator separates the quick connector from the test piece, the test piece can be taken out and marked accordingly.
If the leak detector does not find a helium signal that exceeds the set value, it means that the detected test piece has no leakage. The system sends a signal that passes the detection, and automatically performs the helium recovery procedure on the test piece.
4.Helium recovery: After the inspection is completed, the helium in the test piece is sent back to the low-pressure helium tank through automatic pressure balance. When the helium pressure in the test piece drops to atmospheric pressure, the system uses a vacuum pump to recover the remaining helium in the test piece. When the pressure in the test piece drops to the set value, the helium recovery process is completed. While recovering helium, the system fills the vacuum tank with atmosphere. When the pressure of the vacuum box rises to atmospheric pressure and the helium recovery process of the test piece in the chamber has been completed, the door of the vacuum chamber is automatically opened and the detection procedure is completed.
