Application scope:
The vacuum brazing process is a welding method in which, in a vacuum environment, a brazing material with a melting point lower than the base metal is used, and the capillary suction effect generated through the tiny gap between the two workpieces fills the gap of the base metal, thus forming the weld.

The advantages of adopting the vacuum brazing process are as follows:
(1) During vacuum brazing, the heating temperature is relatively low, so it has little or no effect on the physical and chemical properties of the base metal.
(2) Thousands of welds of complex parts (such as radiators, etc.) can be welded at one time.
(3) The deformation of the parts is small, and it is easy to ensure the size of the assembly.
(4) Under the vacuum state, it is easy to remove the grease and oxide film on the surface of the workpiece, so the surface brightness of the workpiece is high.
(5) There is no need for post-welding cleaning because no brazing flux is required.
(6) Brazing and quenching can be carried out simultaneously.
(7) The vacuum brazing furnace produced uses metal heaters as the main part, and is equipped with metal insulation screens, with low gas release, ensuring good vacuum performance. The working temperature ranges from 300 ℃ to 1100 ℃, and the highest vacuum level of the conventional brazing furnace is 10-4 Pa, and the small furnace can reach 10-5 Pa. The heating system adopts multi-zone temperature control, which ensures the temperature uniformity in the working area inside the furnace. It can be used for the aluminum brazing, silver brazing, copper brazing, manganese brazing, and nickel brazing of the workpiece.
